Europe 2011-Prague Day 5

Day 5
We got up and caught a train to Karlstejn Castle just outside of Prague. This was one of the few castles that Nate didn't get to see while on his mission so it was a good day trip since we both had not been there before. The castle was beautiful. We had to take a tour to be able to see the inside of some of it. Many of the castles in the Czech Republic you could just tour yourself, but this one only let you into a few parts of it.

It was a long walk (up hill) from the train station to Karlstejn, but worth it for the views of the castle.

Another view of the castle.

We set out on a hour hike from the castle that would end in another little village where we could catch the train back to Prague. Somewhere along the hike we took a wrong turn and end up back in the village of Karlstejn. We had a good laugh and saw some beautiful countryside even though we didn't make it to the destination we wanted too.

Prague train station. Apparently it had changed (for the better) quite a bit since Nate was there 10 years ago.
