Day 3
I know this is probably boring for everyone, but I'm doing this for our sake, since we probably will forget many things about our trip (we are getting old ya know). Day 3 was a Sunday so we got up and went to church. They hold church for the Prague Branch at the mission home. They do interpreting for Sacrament meeting so I was able to understand it. It was testimony meeting, so we got to hear the many testimonies of the very few members of the church in the area. It was awesome. Nate enjoyed seeing the mission home again and recognized a few members of the branch. After church we went and toured the Jewish Quarter of Prague. It was very interesting. After that we walked to King Wenceslas Square and saw the National Museum. Sadly the Museum is closed for renovation so we just took pictures of the outside.

This was the Jewish cemetery. It was a site to see because it is in a very small area and was the only place that the Jews could bury their dead, so many of the graves had 10 to 15 people buried below them.
Another view of the cemetery. We toured many synagogues, but couldn't take any pictures of them.
A statue of Antonin Dvorak. He was from the Czech Republic.
Another view of old town square. The tower is the astronomical clock from a different view.
Powder Tower on the way to Charles Bridge.

King Wesceslas Monument.
Inside of the National Theater. We went to see an opera. It was in Czech, but they had subtitles. However, the subtitles quit working after the first 5 minutes of the opera. In addition to that there was NO air conditioning and it was hot. We only made it through the first act and then went back to our hotel.
