Nate and I returned on Sunday from the trip of a lifetime! We spent two and a half weeks touring parts of Europe. We spent six days in Prague, 3 days in Rome, and then boarded a cruise that took us to many ports along the Mediterranean. We saw so much and took a bazillion pictures, so I am going to try and highlight each day in different posts. The pictures I put on each post are only a fraction of all that we took, but you will get the idea.
This was our first day in Prague. We had been awake pretty much for 24 hours at this point, so we were exhausted, but we didn't want to waste the day and we were trying to get as much on Europe time as we could. We only made it till about 5:00pm that day and then crashed. We spent our first day just walking around the city. Nate just wanted to see some of the major places in the old city that he remembered from his mission. It has been almost 10 years since Nate was a missionary in the Czech Republic and he has been waiting that long to return.
Views of Prague castle from Charles Bridge
Old Town Square. All the buildings in Prague were just beautiful.

Nate in front of the Jan Hus monument. He was an important figure in the history of religion. If you Google his name you can find out all about him.
The astronomical clock in old town square. Every hours it would play music and figures of the twelve apostles come out. Not anything spectacular, but tourists would gather every hour and cheer when it started. :)
Me, looking very tired, on Charles Bridge
