Europe 2011-Prague Day 2

Prague Day 2
We woke up really early (4:00am) because our body clocks were still adjusting to the time change. We got ready and headed to tour Prague Castle.

Views of the city as we walked the many stairs to the castle grounds.

Beautiful city

I loved all the reddish roofs!

Part of the castle called "The Golden Lane". All the houses were miniature.

Some the the castle guards. They did a changing of the guards every hour.

One of the many beautiful building at the castle.

The back of the St. Vitus Cathedral on Prague castle grounds.

One of the facades on the cathedral.

The front doors to St. Vitus.

Inside the cathedral.

The entry gates to Prague Castle. Notice the guards standing on each side.

We walked through the castle gardens. Great view of the cathedral.

After Prague Castle we went to Petrin Hill. After hiking up to Petrin tower we climbed the many steps to the top and had an awesome view of the city. The tower is one of the highest points in the city and was totally worth all the hiking we did to get to it.

View of Prague Castle and the city from Petrin Tower.
