Apparently the first of this year didn't have much that was memorable since we were really just trying to survive the winter. :) It seems to just keep snowing and snowing. Nate and the kids were happy with all the skiing they were able to do, but Hazel and I were pretty tired of being couped up. Thank goodness that Spring always comes! We had a few school projects during the early months of the year. Gavin participated in the Science Fair again and did a great job. Ashlyn had a job fair and was a piano teacher. It was a busy time in school!

Cute hat my niece made!
The first weekend in March Nate and I (and Hazel) were able to go to Palm Springs for his work presidents club. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton. It was a nice little break from life. The weather was warm too which was a nice change from home.
Hazel got to try her first swim in a pool. She love it!
She's growing hair!!
