Because life isn't crazy enough, we decided to finally get the upstairs of our house painted! Nate and I did two rooms a couple years ago, but realized that if the rest of the house was ever going to get done we had to hire someone to do it! The painter was in and out in 2 weeks and we have a freshly painted upstairs (and everything is clean, since we had to clean before he could paint). We are really happy with the outcome and we are especially glad it's all done!! I only managed to get before and after shots of the living room and family room/kitchen, but we also had 3 bathrooms and the laundry room done too!!
Before pictures! We had dark trim and doors and our ceilings were dark, so just changing everything over to white made a huge difference in the feeling of our house.

And just a quick update. I am almost done with this pregnancy! If I don't go before, I will be induced on April 18th! So far I have been able to control the diabetes with my diet, so hopefully that's all that will have to be done for the next few weeks. I can't wait to not have to worry about what I eat and test my blood sugar 4 times day! In the mean time, we still have plenty to do to get ready for this baby. Just wish I had the energy to do it!! :)

So glad you're almost done with your pregnancy! I have to admit I've overdosed on sugar since immediately after delivery! And other carbs-- esp potatoes--have never tasted so good!! Good luck with delivery! This old-lady pregnancy may have been awful but my delivery and recovery have been awesome, so there's hope :)
