With all our family reunions, July really flew by. We tried to fit in as much as we could by the end of July because we knew that once August came it wouldn't be long before school started.
I got to go to Day Camp at Camp Kiesel with the activity days girls. I found it to be more fun than going with the cub scouts. Not sure why, but it just was. :) It was great weather and there were no injuries so I call that a success!!
Here is a picture of our group. (This is only 20 of our 35 girls!) :)
We had a few cooler days in July so we took the opportunity to go to the zoo. The boys really wanted to go because there is a thing called Zoorassic Park at the zoo that has a bunch of animatronics dinosaur throughout the park. My parents and sister came along. We had a great time and the animals were very active which made the day even better.
Watching the seals.
Best Buddies!
We grew a few large sunflowers last year in our yard. When winter came around I chopped off the sunflower heads and put them in brown bags to dry. Sadly I didn't think much about them until this Spring when my kids decided to get them out and dump seeds all over our back yard. The result was sunflowers growing all over our garden and yard. :) After spending a few weeks pulling sunflowers out of my garden and yard I decided to let one plant stay in my garden and grow. Here is the result: our gigantic sunflower!
