Playing Catch Up - Espanolandia

I have quite a few updates I need to do, but I don't know where to start!  I guess I will just try to put them in order of when they happened.  So we'll start with Espanolandia.  The 3rd graders at Gavin's school get to participate in an evening of traveling to and being in Spain.  The kids all learned to dance the Flamingo to show the parents.  I have the video of it, but once again can't remember how to get it on the blog.  Maybe later.  The kids then had to use all of their Spanish vocabulary and go through customs, exchange dollars for Euros, buy a shirt (which they painted), check into a Hotel, ride the bus, and eat some authentic food.  It was quite a night of fun and learning.  I am always amazed at how much Spanish my boys know.   They speak it ok, but they both understand it VERY well.  Here are a few pictures from Espanolandia.

Gavin dressed and ready with his sombrero for his dance.

The school gym was decked out to seem like you were in Spain.  This was the Hotel.
