June 7, 2012-Day 4
So I am realizing that I have a billion pictures from our trip. I totally forgot about all the pictures Nate took on his phone, so I am trying to pick only the best to post or else this could take weeks. Day 4 we got up early and headed to the Animal Kingdom. This park ended up being very cool. We really enjoyed the safari ride, Expedition Everest (Nate and Gavin's favorite), Dinosaur, and all the different animals found throughout the park. We were able to do everything we wanted too by the middle of the afternoon so then we head to Epcot. Sadly it rained really hard while we were at Epcot so we didn't get the most out of it that we would have liked too. We ate an expensive meal there and rode a few of the rides. The kids got to see Mickey and his friends and we saw the really cool fireworks show, even though we were soaked. It was a great day!
Ride in Dinosaurland.
The next pictures are all from the safari ride. It was awesome!
Hippos (back left)
We had a giraffe walk right up to our vehicle. It crossed the road right after we passed.
Elephants!
Rhinos!
The famous ball. (Before the rain.)
Sadly Ashlyn was too afraid of all the characters to get her picture with them. I thought she would be excited to see them, but her shyness got the better of her. At least we got Gavin and Liam in most of them.
June 8, 2012-Day 5
We started this day with a fun (but expensive) Character Breakfast. It was a buffet so we tried to eat our moneys worth. Ashlyn spent most of the time under the table when the characters came by our table to visit. We then decided to go back to Magic Kingdom for the day. That was the park that had the most rides for all the kids.
At the breakfast before she was under the table.
Nate held Ashlyn for this picture, but she still plugged her ears out of fear. :)
Famous entrance.
Ashlyn's most favorite ride, the carousal.
Buzz Lightyear ride. Nate was way to into it. :)
Dancing in the streets party with chip and dale!
This is a picture Liam drew one evening after we got back from one of the parks. I thought it was awesome!!
