Who would of thought that after two boys who were not climbers I find myself with a girl who is a climber!
This is where I found Ashlyn today when Gavin started yelling from his room that she was climbing the stairs. I quickly told Gavin to get behind her while I grabbed the camera (I know I'm a really great Mom leaving my almost 1 year old on a ladder). Lately Ashlyn has been climbing anything and everything that she can. She tries to climb our bookshelf, the back of folding chairs, etc...I even caught her trying to climb a shelf at a sports store we were at this afternoon. Apparently Ashlyn thinks she can climb and conquer anything. I still laugh at the idea that neither of my boys were climbers, but my girl is. Crazy. Hopefully she will grow out of this stage before she is tall enough to climb onto our kitchen chairs and table!March 23, 2010

Oh my, I would have a heart-attack! Neither of my boys are climbers either... not really sure what I would do if I had one! :) Good thing you've got helpers with little Ashlyn!
Oh wow! Look at her! With my boy who is a climber, I have had to learn to just not look, cause he MUST climb. Well, within reason of course.....
Good luck!!
Don't count on her growing out of it. She will be on the table before you know it. Anna would climb up on the counter, I caught her one day walking the small counter space between the sink and the floor, luckily for me and my heart she only did this once. Thanks for capturing the moment, it is well worth it to this Grandma to see that. What goes around comes around. Nathan taught Todd how to climb stairs before he was 8 months old. Is this pay back. HMMMMMMMM Love you guys
"Grow out of it"? Good luck!!!
Liesel's new favorite thing to climb is the boys' bunkbed ladder! What fun we will have pulling them off of things at grandma's!
