One year old!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Ashlyn! I can't believe she is one. Where did the year go?!

My Climber

Who would of thought that after two boys who were not climbers I find myself with a girl who is a climber!
This is where I found Ashlyn today when Gavin started yelling from his room that she was climbing the stairs. I quickly told Gavin to get behind her while I grabbed the camera (I know I'm a really great Mom leaving my almost 1 year old on a ladder). Lately Ashlyn has been climbing anything and everything that she can. She tries to climb our bookshelf, the back of folding chairs, etc...I even caught her trying to climb a shelf at a sports store we were at this afternoon. Apparently Ashlyn thinks she can climb and conquer anything. I still laugh at the idea that neither of my boys were climbers, but my girl is. Crazy. Hopefully she will grow out of this stage before she is tall enough to climb onto our kitchen chairs and table!

Gavin's Program

Gavin's Kindergarten class put on a cute little program about cowboys. I recorded a video of his part, but I still haven't figured out how to transfer the video from my camera to the computer, so maybe someday I will get it on the computer for you to see. We did take a couple pictures of him with his classmates. Gavin's part was to square dance (which he did very well) and then he sang a couple songs, one in English and one in Spanish. It was fun to see him perform!

St. Patty's Day

St. Patricks Day is one holiday that I tend to forget about. (Sorry Irish) I actually found myself on even wearing green for the holiday (oops), but we did manage to have some green food for dinner. The boys both made some cute hats at school and we got to spend some time outside enjoying a little warmer weather. Hope your St. Patty's Day was a little more exciting than ours! :)

Green Sunny-D (It looked pretty nasty)

Green Cinnmon Rolls

Green eggs (also not very good looking)

Modeling their hats.

Ashlyn enjoy the outdoors. She loves to be outside!

A Sign of Spring!

Our purple crocuses are up throughout the yard! Spring is coming and we couldn't be happier!

Sleepy Girl...

After I finished feeding Ashlyn her breakfast this morning I left her in her high chair with the boys near by playing legos and went to dry my hair. When I got all done this is what I found. I guess she is paying for getting up too early this morning. Wish I could have a nap too! :)

Gavin and his Bionicles

Gavin built some bionicles the other day and requested that I take his picture with them. I think the request mostly came because Nate also had built a bioncle for Gavin to play with and Gavin thought it was the coolest thing ever. Here some of the pictures we took. I love Gavin's poses! Maybe we have a future model on our hands! :)

Clothing Obsession

You are probably thinking from the title that this topic has to do with me, but sorry not this time. (I think I have more of a shoe obsession anyways) This post has to do with sweet Ashlyn and her obsession with clothes on her head. If the boys or anyone leaves clothes on the floor she is immediately entertained for a time by putting the clothes on her head and crawling around. I'm not sure if it is a sort of peek-a-boo game or what but we have some pretty good laughs when she comes crawling down the hall with a shirt on her head. I love this girl!
