Now that we have early church we are enjoying our long afternoons together. The boys and Nate spent one Sunday afternoon building tall towers with our alphabet squares. Nate put the boys inside once the tower was built. Of course they had the most fun breaking it apart.
Next are the baby's room pictures before and after.
After:
I actually sewed the window valance and crib skirt. I couldn't find anything in the stores that I liked and that didn't cost a fortune, so I found some material I liked and made up my own pattern. I think they turned out well. They are not perfect, but are exactly what I wanted. The room is pretty much done except for the dress drawers. We decided to paint the fronts of the drawers the same pink as the walls. They are currently drying in the garage. Other than that the room is ready!
We are looking forward to meeting our new addition on Tuesday (31st) The boys can't wait to see her. They are getting tired of just talking to my belly. :) I will try and have Nate post pictures soon after the big event!

What a beautiful nursery! Nice job to both you and Nate! I'm sure the darling little bundle you put in it will be just as beautiful...I'll keep checking back in!
Yay, the room looks gorgeous! Congrats on being crafty enough to come up with the valance and crib skirt, that's amazing. We wish you the best of luck with your upcoming delivery! Hope all goes well tomorrow, we can't wait to see pictures!
The nursery looks great. I love the little shelf. I'm still slowly decorating Princess' room. I couldn't do much before since I had no idea what we'd get, or what age . . . all in good time.
The boys look like they had fun with the tower and chalk. Gavin is writing quite well. I wish I could say the same for Little One. Good luck tomorrow!
so is that why nate was out in the garage when we came over yesterday?
I'm reading this on Tuesday - so I hope everything is going okay! The room looks great and I love the window valance and crib skirt! You are very talented. I can't wait to see baby pics!
Holy cow...you are in the hospital as I type this!!! Hope your delivery was a breeze :) I'm totally jealous (I'd rather be in labor than throwing up). Can't wait to see pics of your little girl!
Cute! Good luck today - maybe she's already here by the time I write this comment. Yeah!
