Well since it's September 1st and summer is officially over I better get caught up on the rest of our summer! The best place to start is our annual Hess family reunion up at Bear Lake in June. We had a great week of beach fun, boats, wave runners, hiking and eating. It was a different year at the lake for me. I spent more time at the cabin since the beach wasn't ideal for a 2 month old. But I still enjoyed being there and getting away from our home for a bit. As always, I was more than happy to get home and sleep in my own bed. We had a few sunburns and mosquito bites, but other than that it was a fun and safe week! We sure love our time at Bear Lake and are grateful for the memories we make there each year.

Most of the family (not including me and Hazel) hiked to Bloomington Lake. They said it was awesome!
