Ready for a Hazel picture overload?? Hazel was blessed on Sunday, June 5th. It was a crazy but good day. My sister managed to grab a bunch of pictures of Hazel but we didn't get any of our family!! It was just too crazy with family here after church for food so it just didn't get done. Anyway, it was a great day but I was glad to have it over with. :) We fill so blessed to have this little girl in our family! She is such a joy and has brought us much happiness!

Last Day of School, Memorial Day and Hess Family Reunion
I guess I better get a post done about the last day of school before we start school again. :) The kids had their last day of school on May 27th. I love getting out of school before Memorial Day! The kids all had great teachers this year. It is always sad to be done and moving on to new grades and new teachers in the Fall. Sadly, I didn't get a picture of Gavin with his teacher. They sent the kids outside to do yearbook signings and his teacher was gone before school was over. :( I'm still sad about it because I've got pictures of Gavin with every teacher since Kindergarten.
Anyway, we also had our annual Memorial Day gathering on my mom's side of the family. It was short and sweet which is about all I could handle with a 6 week old.
Ashlyn with Miss Hollie. She was the best teacher!
Liam with Senor Clot. Gavin also had Senor Clot in 4th grade but this was his last year teaching at our school. He is headed back to Spain with his family. :(
Traditional graveside picture! We were fewer in number this year because of relatives being out of town, but still a good sized group!
On June 4th we had a Hess Family Reunion. It was the first of its kind and was awesome! We met at Farmington park and had lunch, visited, and heard some family history stories. It was great to see all those that could make it. We managed to get a picture of all that were there. Amazingly, there are many families missing. The Milton and Fern Hess posterity is a great (large) one!

Ashlyn
Here is a post all about Ashlyn! She was (and is) a busy girl! She was probably the most excited to become a big sister and she has been the best! Ashlyn is very helpful and Hazel loves to hear her voice the most out of all the kids. Here are a few pictures of Ashlyn's life for the past few months.
It was twin day at school so, of course, Ashlyn had to be a twin with her best friend Claire. :)
Nate went and hung out with Ashlyn's class for field day. It turned out to be perfect weather so they were able to get wet. Ashlyn didn't like having her clothes wet so she spent a good amount of time trying to get dry. :)
Ashlyn had her ballet recital in June. They did a ballet from the 'Little Prince'. Ashlyn's class were volcano cleaners. It was very cute!
We tried to grow Ashlyn's hair out so we could get it in a bun for ballet, but it ended up that she didn't even have to do a bun because of the handkerchief she wore on her head for her costume. Sadly, Ashlyn's hair doesn't really grow very quickly and is thin (just like her mother) so it didn't get very long, but we were both happy to get it cut off as soon as the ballet recital was over. :)

After
Love my Ashlyn!
Ashlyn is always my sunshine and happiness every day. So glad she's mine!

Liam's Happenings!
I figured since I did a Gavin post I better just do posts for the rest of the kids to get everything covered for the past few months. Liam had a busy couple of months. He had his 4th grade program all about Utah. He had to do a county pamphlet and float to display. Liam chose Cache County just to be like his older brother. Lucky for us it made doing the county projects easier since we had done them a couple years ago!!
Liam also spent the Spring playing baseball. He had an awesome coach who helped him improve on his batting and knowledge of the game. Liam was happy to be part of the Yankees team. He had a few good hits and made a few outs playing 1st base and short stop. I spent most of the games in the car with Hazel but it worked out fine. Luckily Nate was able to make it to a couple games and got some great pictures of our baseball player!
In early June the scouts had a space derby. Liam spent the day before it working with Nate to make his ship. For not spending too much time on creating the ship it did pretty well, placing 2nd in 3 of 4 of the races it ran. And surprisingly he ended up winning 1st place out of the Webelos! :) And this marks the end of cub scout derbys for us. Crazy.
As I blog about our kids happenings in the last few months I feel very blessed that I was able to get through all of it being 9 months pregnant and then having a newborn. I was truly given added strength to be there for my kids through all the craziness. So blessed :)
