Liam's Birthday Party

Liam is turning 6 years old tomorrow (23rd), but since his big day falls so close to Thanksgiving we decided to have a birthday party for him last Friday. Liam chose to have a Football themed party. We played games such as, Hot Football, who can pin the football player closest to the end-zone, how many footballs can you throw through the hoop, and we had a football training course for the kids to race on. The party ended with all the boys playing a great game of football in the basement. It was a fun party. At least that's what Liam thought! :) Here are some pics from the party. Happy 6th Birthday Liam! We love you! (pics are out of order)

Pin the football player. (Nate created the football stadium, I love my artistically talented husband)

Nate's birthday

Nate had his birthday on the 15th. Sadly he was out of town that week so we didn't get around to celebrating his birthday until last Saturday the 19th. He got to open a few presents and then we ate leftover ice cream cake from my birthday. We haven't really been around to eat it so it has been sitting in the freezer. Anyway, I think he had a good birthday except for the fact that he wasn't home with us. Happy Birthday Nate, we love you!

Catch up...

How is it already the middle of November?! Christmas will be here before we know it. Just a little catch up for the first part of the month. November is our birthday month. So I got to start it off we my birthday. I turned 29 again this year! :) Nate was out-of-town for the week and didn't get home until the eve of my birthday so we had a little celebration when he got home. He did send me some beautiful flowers and brought me some yummy chocolates. Overall it was a good day if you can have a good day when you are getting old. :) My other birthday present was a trip out to Tennessee to see my sister Aimee and her husband Brian. They moved out their this last Spring so I decided to take a trip by myself to go and see them and their new home. Nate stayed home all last week while I was gone and ran the house. He was awesome! I think he was better at being a Mom than I am! I had a great time at my sisters. We did some work (painting, yard work) and played lots. The weather was great (better than cold Utah). It was great to be with them, but I am happy to be home too. Here are some pictures of the last few weeks.
