Schools Out!

Yesterday was the last day of school for both Gavin and Liam. It is hard to believe another school year is over and that next year I will have one in 2nd grade and one in kindergarten. I think the main reason it doesn't feel like the end of the school year is the weather. We have only had a few days in the 70's so far this year. Most of the Spring has been rainy and cold. Gavin's field day at school had to be moved inside this year because of the rain and cold. Now that school is out we are hoping for some weather closer to summer like. Maybe we could have a few days in the 80's, is that too much to ask? :)

Today we are enjoying not having to go anywhere or do anything. We just wish the weather was warmer. (It is only in the 50's)

Patriotic program and one less tooth

The 1st graders at Gavin's school put on a patriotic program last week. They sang a bunch of song about America. It was entertaining, but mostly I was just proud of Gavin for knowing the words to all the songs. (there was at least 10)

In other news, Gavin, oops, I should say, Nate pulled out Gavin's front tooth on Saturday. Gavin tried, but couldn't get it, so Nate took a stab at it and yanked it out! Now Gavin has a HUGE whole in his mouth! Hope the new tooth comes in quick before the other front tooth comes out. It is loose too!

No Nap!

(Apparently Blogger is having issues since I already did this post, but it got erased somehow. )

Ashlyn has decided that she doesn't want a nap anymore in the afternoons. The only problem is I'm not sure what I will do without my few hours of peace where I get something accomplished each day! :)
