Catch up...

I realize that it has only been 5 days since Liam's birthday, but I feel like that was forever ago. I guess that's what a long holiday weekend will do to ya. With that said, I have quite a few pictures to blog about. First up is Liam's birthday. We just had a little family celebration. Here a few pics from the party.

Liam's requested Mickey Mouse cake. (Good thing I married a creative and talented husband or my kids wouldn't have cool cakes)

Ashlyn a.k.a the present helper.

Singing "Happy Birthday".

I have to put a picture of this cute girl. She loves to smile every time I turn on the camera.

The second thing was Gavin loosing his second tooth. Yup, it only took a little over a week to pull another tooth out. It was nice that the new tooth was already coming in and helped in the pulling process.
Last we are onto Thanksgiving day. We had all of my family at our house for the big feast. It was great! Nate did most of the main cooking. I only had to make rolls and did a lot of dishes! :) It was so nice to be with everyone and have a ton of great food!

All together!

A First

We had a first in our family yesterday. Gavin lost his first tooth! He noticed it was loose on Friday night and just worked on wiggling it all day yesterday until we finally convinced him last night to just pull on it and out it popped! He left the tooth under his pillow and woke up to find a dollar in its place. (A bit to much money in my opinion!) :) Anyways, it was a bit of excitement for our family especially since all the pulling and drama happened during nightly scripture reading. Great timing, I know. Here is a goofy picture of a Gavin minus a tooth.

Birthday Month

November is definitely our birthday month. The boys insisted on celebrating Spike's (the cat) birthday on the 1st. We think he was born around the first of November. Then I had a birthday this past week too. We still have Nate and Liam's birthdays to celebrate this month. Thank goodness we have Gavin and Ashlyn's birthdays to celebrate in the Spring otherwise we would do all our celebrating in November. The kids got me this card for my birthday and I thought it was a good reflection of what a Mom's birthday is like. Enjoy!

I love my kids!

(Great) Grandpa and Grandpa Kohl

When Nate was out-of-town for work last week he was able to go and visit his grandparents for an afternoon. He had a wonderful visit and loved being able to see them. I told Nate to make sure and have Grandpa take some pictures so I could show our kids and have some pictures for family history sake. I was very jealous that he got to go and visit with them. Hopefully next time we can all make the trek to see them! Here is one of the pictures from there afternoon together. Thanks to Grandpa for sending them to me! :)

By the way, when I showed the pictures to the boys, Gavin said, "Of course, I remember them!" It made me happy since it has been almost two years since we last saw them.
We love you Great Grandpa and Grandma Kohl!
