Fourth of July

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July. It was sort of fun to have it on Sunday because we actually partied for 3 days instead of just one. We had a family BBQ on Saturday with tons of food and fun. Of course I didn't think to grab my camera once, so I don't have any pictures of the event. After the BBQ we went to Kaysville to watch the big fireworks. There were tons of people there, but Nate managed to find us a great spot. The fireworks were awesome! Once, again I didn't have my camera! Sunday the 4th was a pretty regular Sunday. I had to teach in Relief Society so I was a little stressed about that, but after it was over we had a relaxing afternoon. Monday was spent running errands and doing some shopping. My parents took the boys for most of the day (thank you) so Nate and I could shop without the whining, "are we almost done?" We did our own fireworks that evening and I finally thought to grab my camera so here are the only pictures I took of the 4th of July weekend!

I wish I could say that I took this picture, but I didn't. The above picture was taken on Memorial day by my wonderful sister-in-law Anna. She is a great photographer. I love this picture and I thought it was fitting for my 4th of July post!

Done with sparklers and smoke bombs, waiting for Nate to get the other fireworks ready.

Nate creating his own firework show. :)

Still waiting...

and waiting... oh, and then my battery died so I didn't even get any pictures of the fireworks! At least there is always the 24th! :)
